]]>2K Games has said it plans to issue a patch for The Darkness II which will include controls for PC users to change the game's field of view. This is according to a conversation TotalBiscuit had with 2K, where it was discussed that not allowing PC gamers and option to switch from a narrow, 60 degrees FOV to one that is larger - say 90 degrees - can make things a bit uncomfortable for players. 2K has not formally announced its plans for a patch, but according to the firm's Elizabeth Tobey, the development is "looking into a solution". ]]>2K Games has announced those who pre-order The Darkness II from now until the game launches will be upgraded from the standard edition of the game to the Limited Edition. It includes a Crazy Abdul darkling outfit, ability upgrades Gourmet Hearts which provides a bonus for eating hearts and Relic Hunter which locates collectible items throughout the game. It also includes an illustration by Marc Silvestri, and digital download versions of comics The Darkness Origins Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. ]]>Mandeville Films, the Walt Disney-affiliated production company behind The Fighter, will be developing a film based on Top Cow's graphic novel, The Darkness. The news was confirmed at Comic-Con today to the L.A. Times by a spokesperson for Mandeville, who said David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman will produce, while David Manpearl and Top Cow's Marc Silvestri and Matt Hawkins will be the executive producers. The firm and Top Cow previously brokered deals for graphic novels Alib and Crosshair. Meanwhile, the Darkness II game has been moved into 2012, as we've previously reported.
