Infinity Nikki is the first open-world game in the Nikki dress-up franchise, and we all know what open worlds involve: an abundance of resources that sporadically respawn once you've hoovered them all up, helpfully ensuring that you're never responsible for simultaneous in-universe deforestation and soft-locking your game because you can't craft anything new.
]]>In Infinity Nikki, Whimstars are the embodiment of whimsicality and inspiration. When fused with Nikki’s Heart of Infinity they fill her with an indescribable power, serving as an energy source for her newfound abilities.
]]>Infinity Nikki boasts over 45 outfits for keen stylists to unlock, with even more clothing items on top of that to mix and match however you please. As if that wasn’t enough for players to harness their styling prowess, the most impressive of clothing items — 4-Star and 5-Star outfits — can undergo a process called Evolution to unlock new colour variations.
]]>While combat is not the be-all and end-all in Infinity Nikki, with Miraland — for the most part — featuring relatively simple fights that are few and far between, there is still some danger to be wary of. This is where Health Potions come in as a vital item that can patch you up during a fight or within a dungeon.
]]>Infinity Nikki boasts many different things to do. You could spend hours simply exploring Miraland before cracking on with questing, or perhaps you like spending your time putting together outfits and finding new pieces of clothing to complete them. One set of side quests that will have you both exploring and styling are Kindled Inspirations.
]]>While Infinity Nikki doesn’t yet have multiplayer — and we aren’t quite sure if it ever will — aspiring Stylists exploring Miraland can add friends in-game. Having folk on your friends list doesn’t provide many benefits, but it does allow you to message your friends in-game and you can quickly share any snaps you take with them.
]]>As you go about exploring Miraland and engaging in all the activities that Infinity Nikki has to offer, it won’t be long before you run into your first Styling Contest. These competitions act similarly to the Style Challenges you’ll have no doubt taken part in alongside the game’s NPCs, but reap much better rewards.
]]>As is usually the case with gacha games, Infinity Nikki has a few different currencies that you’ll want to become familiar with as you explore Miraland. Currencies include those that you spend in the in-game store, as well as those that can be spent in shops across Miraland, or used to upgrade the various items you have collected.
]]>Throughout Infinity Nikki, you’ll spend a whole lot of time gathering and collecting resources. This is when you’re not helping out the array of folk across Miraland or engaging in Style Challenges galore to show off your styling prowess. One such resource you’ll eventually need but might not immediately find is Essence, which can come from pretty much anything you can gather in Infinity Nikki.
]]>Infinity Nikki boasts an array of outfits and items of clothes for players to find, unlock, craft, and spend their hard-earned Diamonds on, hopefully earning via the game’s gacha system, Resonance. At the time of writing, there are currently over 45 outfits for players to get their hands on, and this doesn’t include all the additional individual items of clothing you can acquire to put together your very own outfits with.
]]>As you step foot into the vast open-world of Miraland in Infinity Nikki and begin climbing the Stylist ranks, you’ll quickly find that there’s lots of activities for you to take part in at any given moment. There’s bug catching galore, Whimstars to collect, dungeons to glide through, and that’s all on top of the main quest you’ll be embarking on. That said, one thing you will want to remember to complete daily in Infinity Nikki is Realm Challenges.
]]>If you’ve been playing Infinity Nikki - the open-world instalment in the Papergames series - and have found that your cutscenes and rendezvous with NPCs are damningly silent, there’s some good news and some better news. The good news is that these scenes are not meant to be as quiet as they are, and the better news is that you can fix the voice acting.
]]>Nikki and Momo’s open-world adventure, Infinity Nikki, has arrived, inviting stylists globally to explore everything that Miraland has to offer. This vast, beautiful world certainly has a lot for any stylist to be doing at any given time, and that’s why we’ve put together some tips and tricks for those wanting to make the most of their time.
]]>Move over Nikki, it’s time to dress Momo up! In Infinity Nikki, as you go about unlocking outfits, collecting Whimstars, and exploring Miraland, you’ll eventually find that Momo has his own wardrobe in which you can kit him out with various cloaks that match Nikki’s best outfits.
]]>From the very beginning of your time playing Infinity Nikki, you’ll hear whispers of a Miracle Outfit — Wishful Aurosa — and your goal will be to ultimately get your hands on it. Fortunately, this outfit is tied to the main quest, and as a result, you’ll be able to unlock all pieces of it and craft it for free as you gradually progress with Miraland’s story.
]]>As is rite of passage for any gacha game, Infinity Nikki will feature daily missions for players to complete, encouraging you to log on and catch some bugs, gather some plants, and more each day. These are known as Daily Wishes in game, and you’ll want to regularly complete them to keep progressing with Miraland’s story.
]]>Infinity Nikki is the open-world dress-up game that many of us have been waiting for. It’s a laid-back gacha game with no pressure to pull for the latest S-tier character or weapon. Instead, you’ll be spending most of your time gathering flowers, catching bugs, and slowly but surely unlocking new items of clothing to adorn your character in.
]]>All of you fashionable folks out there hoping to try out Infinity Nikki on PS5 will soon have the chance to do so.
]]>An open-world dress-up game wouldn’t be complete without the ability to take part in fashion contests, and Infinity Nikki has offered players the chance to do just that with Style Challenges.
]]>Infinity Nikki is the latest installment in the Nikki series from Infold Games, and this time around, Nikki and her feline companion, Momo, are coming to console and PC alongside mobile. In what is Infold’s most ambitious project yet, the open-world dress-up game will also feature a gacha system and microtransactions.
]]>The Nikki series of dress-up games is no stranger to having its players redeem codes for additional rewards, and the latest adventure for Nikki and Momo — Infinity Nikki — is no different. So, how exactly do you redeem codes in Infinity Nikki?
]]>Okay imagine this. A 26-year-old big, bearded man walks through Gamescom - having drunk three Red Bulls and smoked five cigarettes - and stumbles towards the Infinity Nikki booth. It's this massive, adorable set-up with rows of PCs along cutesy white booths. I hop right in, finding myself in control of a young lady, as well as her smug cat companion sitting in the basket of a rainbow-coloured bicycle. The proceeding hour has me create new dresses to wear, catch bugs, and clean various cats on the street. This might be the most out of place I've ever felt previewing a video game.
