]]>According to games media vetern Jeff Grubb, Capcom has been considering reviving the long-dormant Dino Crisis IP in recent years. This may be pleasant to hear for any OG survival horror fans out there, but there's a catch. This particular rumour only fell on Grubb's ears prior to the release of ExoPrimal.

]]>Dino Crisis never got a modern sequel, after the third game took an odd 'dinosaurs in space' tangent. One magazine is reporting that Capcom is working on the project now, and that it'll be announced later this year.
]]>Resident Evil producer Masachika Kawata has said Capcom isn't likely to return to Onimusha or Dino Crisis any time soon. "Capcom has obviously never shied away from bringing back our older IPs to new generations, but I do think it's more important for us to focus on creating new IP as we move forward," he told VideoGamer when asked about the fan-favourite properties; Kawata had worked on both. Capcom USA recently surveyed fans about their preferences on the treatment of back-catalogue properties, though.

]]>Unbelievably, Dino Crisis is ten years old today. Capcom's lizard horror released in Japan on July 1 1999, and was followed by two sequels and a light-gun spin-off called Dino Stalker.
