]]>The latest Kickstarter update from Double Fine confirms that new adventure Broken Age is now in internal alpha. "That means Part 1 is fully playable from start to end. It's still not quite ready for backer consumption, because there's a lot more work to do in terms of polishing and fixing bugs, but this is a major content milestone that puts us a whole lot closer to getting the game out the door," the developer wrote. Broken Age will be released in two parts, starting in January, to help fund Tim Schafer's ambitious vision. It was one of the first major gaming Kickstarters, so it'll be good to see it come to fruition.

]]>Double Fine Adventure has reassessed its plans for Kickstarter-funded adventure Broken Age and decided to release one half of the game via Steam Early Access.
]]>The Double Fine Humble Bundle has launched. The lovely pay-what-you-want pack comes with cross-platform and DRM-free versions of Costume Quest, Psychonauts and Stacking. If ou pay over the $8.28 minimum you will also get Brütal Legend, If you pay $35 or more, you will also be pre-ordering Broken Age, the firm's Kickstarter project. If you are feeling even more generous, if you pay $70 you will also get a t-shirt. All games are compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux, and just giving $1 opens the three main titles up on Steam. You have 13 days left on the clock. A video is below.
