Signalis is a short, strange game, and undeniably one of the best horror games of recent years. It’s one whose sound effects will linger in your ears long after closing it, with striking similarities to PS1 horror classics such as Silent Hill and Resident Evil. Alas, this is not just another PS1 survival horror; it’s a unique game that wears its influences on its sleeve - but with their own flair - delivering distinct puzzles and a troubling story of entirely its own.
]]>There's a massive August sale going on right now on the PlayStation store. Those with a PS4 or PS5 can hop on right now and find a fairly large selection of great games up for grabs at reduced prices - including Red Dead Redemption 2, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2, and the fantastic horror game that is Signalis.
]]>2022 has been a slow year for games, but by no means a bad one. This year, I got to spend plenty of time with games that I’d of never seen myself playing beforehand, and finally held hands with some games I’d been waiting an eternity for. On top of that, it’s been a fantastic year for horror games and reveals, which I’ll always gobble up eagerly.
]]>My game of the year for 2022 is Signalis. A survival horror title that I feel absolutely deserves a space among the genre’s best like Silent Hill 2. It is a 10/10 game, I have very few complaints and all of them are gripes and nitpicks. It is well worth playing.

]]>We’re seeing games set in outer space make a comeback harder than ever lately, but what about the survival horror genre? A subgenre of horror that, without a doubt, thrived throughout the late nineties and early noughties with the likes of the Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Clock Tower series paving the way. But is Xbox Game Pass home to any must-play games in the genre?

]]>Signalis is a survival horror experience through and through, with puzzles to solve, ammo to preserve, and enemies that you’d much rather avoid. Pair this with a distinct art style and illusive story about Elster, a Replika agent on the hunt for answers, and you’ve got yourself perhaps one of the best indie horror games this year.
]]>Signalis is the debut indie survival horror title from Rose Engine, and it borrows from some of the best horror games of all time. As you prowl corridors as Elster, in search for answers and your lost partner, this pixel art title gets creepier as time goes on. So much so, it’s hard to put down.

]]>Signalis is a distinct survival horror title that’s just come to Xbox Game Pass. As you pace each hall of this barren facility as Elster, it’s hard to ignore how much this game feels like Resident Evil and Silent Hill’s best bits were brewed in a pot with unique pixel art, and infused with science-fiction.
]]>Signalis is a survival horror title that’s just recently hit Xbox Game Pass, and it’s a very fitting addition for the subscription service. The game sees you playing as Elster, a technician Replika, on-board a very strange vessel with even stranger things occurring.

You wake up as Elster, a technician Replika, on a bizarre out-of-this-world government facility. From the outset, something isn’t quite right as Elster begins their search for answers.
