]]>If you’re tired of farming crafting materials in the Aberrant Cave, there’s a new set of areas to get Gems in Ark Fjordur. It takes a bit of navigating to reach these points, so you may want to put the coordinates into Ark’s console command and teleport there instantly to save time. Most of these caves have fairly powerful enemies guarding them, so expect a bit of a fight before getting your treasures.
]]>Teleporting in Ark Fjordur is almost essential if you plan on exploring every inch of the massive new land, three open side areas, and finishing its endgame activities. While you can fly or move without pressing any inputs, one console command lets you instantly teleport to any coordinates on the map, and you can use it on PC or consoles.
]]>You can never have enough wyverns or lava dinosaurs, and if that’s your philosophy on life too, you’ll be happy to learn that there’s wyvern eggs and magmasaur eggs on Fjordur. The new region in Ark Survival Evolved is home to all four wyvern types and a small enclave of Magmasaur in the depths of a volcano. Getting these eggs makes it easier to tame the critters when they hatch - assuming you survive long enough to hatch them, of course.
]]>Finding resources on Fjordur in Ark Survival Evolved takes a bit of getting used to. The new region is vast, and it takes a while to familiarize yourself with where some of the important materials are, including honey, fungal wood, and oil. These three are grouped fairly close together, so you can grab up as much as you need in one farming run without taking too much time.
]]>Taming a Fjordhawk in Ark Survival Evolved’s new expansion is one of the best things you can do. The domesticated Andrewsarchus might have a turret on its back, but the Fjordhawk offers a set of much more practical bonuses, including easier inventory management and a handy status perk. Taming a Fjordhawk takes a fair bit of patience and luck, though.
]]>Figuring out how to tame the Andrewsarchus in Ark Survival Evolved seems like a daunting task, especially since it doesn’t take much for the furry beasts to take you down, but with the right items and a bit of patience, you too can have your very own Andrewsarchus. Patience is the key here, as you’ll likely need to try several times before fully taming it – and then may need to tame it again later on.
]]>Unlocking Mjolnir in Ark Survival Evolved is a lengthy process with multiple trials to overcome, including finding 200 Fjordur Runes, before you can even hold the hammer in your hand. And it’s just the beginning, unless you input a console command. You also need to fight six mini bosses and one final boss in total and cover almost the entire Fjordur region, so bear that in mind before you get started.
