]]>Kero Blaster developer Studio Pixel has released a free prologue to the game for PC titled Pink Hour. The studio hopes this will tide folks over until Kero Blaster releases next month. The demo is on the Japanese gaming portal Playism, so you will need to set up an account to try the demo. A video of it is below. Kero Blaster will release on May 11 for PC and iOS.

]]>Cave Story developer Daisuke Amaya has confirmed that he will delay his side-scrolling iOS title Gero Blaster for an undetermined amount of time.
]]>Gero Blaster is a new title in the works from Cave Story's Daisuke “Pixel” Amaya, who showed off the game at BitSummit in Japan this weekend. The side-scrolling shooter has players donning the persona of Kaeru, a frog, who is trying to find his kidnapped girlfriend. According to information gleaned by Nintendo Life, Nicalis will publish the iOS title, which looks to also be heading to 3DS. A release date wasn't provided. Rodriguez told Destructoid would be separate from Cave Story 3D and not an update, meaning past purchasers of 3D will have to purchase +. He further teased upcoming updates for the Steam version, noting: "How do online leaderboards for the challenges sound?"

The developer said on its Twitter in response to a fan that it went to certification, but that it failed to pass it "for some really minor crap with the manual." ]]>NIS America has announced it's to bring over Cave Story 3D to Europe this summer for 3DS. An exact date wasn't confirmed, though. It comes as a US release date was announced yesterday as June 28.
