]]>Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker finally makes the jump to Vita in this week's PlayStation Network update, the PlayStation Blog has announced. Peace Walker has been referred to as "Metal Gear Solid 5" by franchise creator Hideo Kojima, stars Big Boss, and supports up to six players in multiplayer. It was originally released on PSP in 2010 and then in the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 HD collection bundle, but this is its first portable incarnation with twin-stick support.

Basically, you're going to smoother-running games. Everyone's a winner. He also said he had tried 60FPS for the PS2 version of MGS3, but was not possible because of tech issues.

]]>Konami’s Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is one of the greatest games I have ever played on the PSP, a system I had all but given up on before spending the best part of a day playing Hideo Kojima’s game at a recent preview event organised by the publisher.
That is the main thing you need to know. Secondly, even after four or five hours of playing and slowly getting into the experience, I was still left with the feeling of having only just scratched the surface of a 30-40-hour marathon I will relish. With Peace Walker there are no concerns at all about, “How am I going to find the time to play through this?” I just will.

It will retail for £7.99.
In addition to MGS1, Konami also told us that Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, as well as it's expansion Portable Ops +, and Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphic Novel will also be released to celebrate the release of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker next year. Dates, though, are to be announced.

Here's what you need to do:
]]>Metal Gear games - which count fat men on rollerskates, ancient wheelchair-bound snipers, and immortal vampires among their standout features - have never exactly been "normal." However, Peace Walker's even got Metal Gear devotees doing double-takes, so you'll be happy to hear that Peace Walker will be publicly playable at TGS.
According to Kotaku, you'll be able to try Peace Walker at Konami's booth or download it to your own PSP and peace walk the show floor.
Konami had their GC press conference today and none other then creator of the MGS series, the motherfucking man himself, Hideo Kojima was there.
He was there to demo Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and it's co-op abillites for the game.
Kojima started off by showing the brand new trailer for the game, which you can find after the jump.
He then went on to say that, while co-op for the game is not like the recently released Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite, it does require a similar amount of teamwork.
Some of the co-op gameplay features shown in the demo included CPR, walking in tandem, hide in cardboard boxes together and back-to-back shooting. And before you know it, the demo was over.

The Kojima Productions boss is gonna be at the event to show off Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for the PSP as well as demo Castlevania: Lords of Shadow for PS3 and 360 alongside developer, Mercury Stream.
Also coming is Team PES leader, Shingo Takatsuka, more commonly known as Seabass. He'll be there to premiere Pro Evolution Soccer 2010.
