]]>Capcom has detailed Dead Rising 2: Off the Record's Sandbox Mode which will allow players to explore the casinos, restaurants, malls and new Uranus Zone without any time constraints. Challenges placed throughout the city will also allow folks to earn additional for cash pawn shops and vending machines purchases around Fortune City. These challenges will range from Ranging vehicle-based challenges to zombie massacre challenges, and even collection challenges. The higher the rank in each, the more cash netted. Hopefully, everyone else will be excited over the sequel, and Capcom will exceed it's estimated sales projection of 3.0 million units sold for the title.
We know this is a PS3-centric post but just so we don't come across as biased, don't forget about the Dead Rising 2: Case Zero prologue which will hit exclusively on Xbox Live ahead of the game’s release.

]]>Dead Rising 2 will have more than one ending, if producer Keiji Inafune gets his way, although the anticipated undead-annihilator is still too early in development to say for definite if multiple conclusions will be added.
"Definitely one of the things people seemed to like with the first Dead Rising game was that there were multiple endings, and so I personally would love to be able to put in multiple endings in this game," he said in an IGN vid interview you can see after the break.
"We haven't officially gotten to that point in the game where we decide one way or the other, so all I can say right now that it's my desire to do that in the game, but at this point I can't officially say yes or no."
There's tons of gameplay footage in that video, so you'd do well to watch. There's no date on it yet.
