]]>Konami's Australian representatives have confirmed a November 8 launch for Silent Hill: Book of Memories, the top-down co-op action effort for Vita. A demo is available now for the canon-mashing delight, which arrives in the US next week and in Europe in early November. Dave seems a bit non-plussed by it but I'm all for WayForward's experimentation with the property.

The Vita exclusive contains co-op and online multiplayer for 1-4 friends. It also features new and classic monsters from previous Silent Hill games, and players can customize thier character’s look and personality. Silent Hill: Book of Memories is slated for a fall release, with many retailers pointing it for October.

The multiplayer, top-down horror was expected on May 22, as other retailers maintain, but Konami's had an itchy trigger finger for delays this year. We've asked what's up.
]]>Konami has confirmed to RipTen that Silent Hill: Book of Memories has been delayed, and will no longer release on March 27. Various retailers have a placeholder set for May 31, which oddly enough is a Thursday. Konami hasn't provided a new release date, and has said to "stay tuned for a more formal announcement." This this the second delay for the game, which was originally scheduled for release alongside Vita's launch in February.
